Barcelona star Xavi has revealed he would 'love' to see Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas move to the Spanish club.
Gunners star Fabregas admitted on Thursday he was considering making a return to his boyhood club Barca, opening the way for a £40million transfer.
The midfielder joined the Gunners in 2003 after coming through the youth ranks at Barcelona, and has frequently been linked with a move back to the Primera Liga leaders.
And Spain ace Xavi insists he would be more than happy to see his fellow midfielder return to Camp Nou.
"Yes, I'd love for him to join us," Xavi told The Sun. "He's a very close friend of mine and a footballer with Barcelona's DNA.
