AC MILAN, Cassano surgery completed without any unforeseen complications

A.C. Milan wishes to communicate that Antonio Cassano this morning underwent a cardiologic operation at the Policlinico in Milan. The procedure was completed without any unforeseen complications by a team of specialists including, among others Professor Mario Carminati cardiologic, pediatric and heart specialist from the ITCCS Policlinico in San Donato, Milan, Doctor Gian Battista Danzi, Cardiologic director at the Policlinico and a team of doctors from the neurology section of the Policlinico including Professor Nereo Brisolin, neurologic specialist and Doctor Yvan Torrente, neurology research specialist at the Milan university and the club’s head of health Doctor Rodolfo Tavana.
Antonio is in recovery and will undergo tests in the next few days to determine when he’ll be bale to return home.
At this point, a packed stadium on Sunday afternoon comes to mind. The San Siro with 80,000 fans chanting Antonio’s name at half time. Would that not be the best way to help the player take his first steps towards recovery?
