West Ham are going round Premier League clubs with a begging bowl as they ask for players on loan to help them stave off relegation. It looks like they have been priced out of a move for Robbie Keane by a reported £1m survival bonus, but they are yet to hear from Manchester City about Shaun Wright-Phillips.
SWP has started only two Premier League games this season as he has fallen way behind the likes of Adam Johnson, James Milner, Mario Balotelli and David Silva in the City pecking order. He might jump at the chance of a return to London to follow in his father's footsteps at Upton Park.
